I have recieved some complaints from Supporters on my WPMS site. These are people that doesn't have a subscription payment but chooses to pay for different periods of times depending (I guess) on current personal economy. Their complaint is that there is no warning when their Supporter period is about to expire.
So my suggestion is to include an optional message to users where they are reminded that their Supporter period is about to expire and that they need to make a payment to continue being a Supporter.

Hiya Qlof,
Many thanks for the suggestion. I've directed Aaron - lead plugin dev for supporter - over here. We're actually hard-pressed at the moment with a massive amount of updates for this plugin due in 3.0.
If there's something possible here, we'll take a look. Perhaps even a hook into the subscriptions so that super admins can setup email notifications? I haven't attempted this before, but we'll let ya know how 'doable' this would be.
Just to spin more on your idea, it could be a good idea to be able to send to non-supporters only as well. For example, X number of days after signup a non-supporter recieves an email that tells them about Supporter. Or a supporter recieves an email after X number of days of being a Supporter, asking if he/she is pleased, asking them for suggestions etc.
hi! yea the email notification for expiry would be very helpful. We are using a manual form to take payments, as we require local currency which is not supported by paypal

That's a great idea. That way the admin can choose to use it or not, and manage all email notifications at the same place.
