A great feature that I'm sure many would love to see is to have the ability to use the supporter or pay to blog plugin to offer different levels of services.
For example: $10/ month for basic - $20/month for Pro - $30/month for Platinum
Network admins could select different plugins, themes, storage, mobile, ads etc. to come available to different levels.
Right now the supporter plugin only has one level, the pay to blog is all or nothing and the membership plugin only does front end 'content memberships'
What I'm thinking would be similar to what 37 signals and so many other companies out there do with their products but instead this would be focused on networks and blogging.

The last I heard, there wasn't a firm ETA for this.
We're also eagerly awaiting this feature. However, I wanted to interject a quick suggestion:
Even though there will be the ability to set multiple membership levels, I'd recommend keeping the levels very simple to distinguish between. For example, our levels will generally include all features (the same themes, plugins, etc.), but the levels will only be distinguished by upload space. In other words, there's one basic plan, and price (or level) is determined by how much space the user needs.
Of course our approach won't work for everyone. But I also remember reading a post somewhere about Edublogs' experiences, and how they learned (the hard way) to keep the membership levels simple. That's why they ended up with the free / pro approach that became the basis for Supporter.
Just a few thoughts while we wait for the new version. :-)

Awesome thanks Aaron!
I've been reading some articles on wpmu.org and this latest one: http://wpmu.org/edublogs-is-a-case-study-in-the-mind-share-market-the-power-of-an-alternative-currency/
is along the lines of what I'm thinking.
Freemium | Pro | Premium would be awesome member levels.
Any ideas on a release date? I know I can't really ask that but a guy can try right?
thanks
