I'm configuring the Chat plugin on my website and I am attempting to connect the plugin to Facebook. However, when I click the link "app registration page" on the "Facebook API" page of the "Chat Settings" I only ever get my own facebook page back again. I can't seem to find where I can register the site as an application.

Hi Kimberly. I actually managed to work it out for myself. I was logged into the FB account for the website - but you need to be logged into a personal FB account for the link to work.
However, the instructions required to setup the FB link are vastly out of date. I managed to sort it, but I'm a full-time software developer - those with a little less knowledge might find it very difficult to set-it up.
Saying that though - I can't get it to work properly now it's turned on, but I'll set up another ticket for that.

Sorry you are having trouble with the link, seems to work fine for me on my sandobx install.
Try here: https://developers.facebook.com/apps
That should get you what you are looking for :)
