Would you happen to be using it without MarketPress activated? It's made to work with MarketPress and it looks quite different without it. If that's not the issue, perhaps it's just that you need to create some products so the grid gets filled?
If there's something in specific you're wondering about regarding it though, we can take a look at that. Just let me know! :)
There are 2 main reasons why it wouldn't look like the demo:
1. You are using the parent theme FrameMarket - you need to remove the child theme from the parent file and put it in the themes/ directory
2. You aren't using MarketPress
First up make sure you've got the latest version (always a good route to follow). Then if you want the styling like the demo activate the child theme. FrameMarket is a raw minimal styled parent intended for either you to build from or use a child theme. GridMarket is the first of our child theme releases.
Hi I have followed the steps as outlined by Tammie, but my problem is that gridmarket is not being listed as a theme. I do have framemarket listed. I can see that the theme is there from cpanel, it's just not showing up in the list of themes?
@look4 don't forget you need to activate the theme (when using multisite anyway) from the Network Admin for the sites you want to be able to use it on.
I will add the main reason we've done this is FrameMarket will eventually have 2 more at least child themes. You will then have them all in one and just be able to choose which. What may seem a bit weird will make sense once we have more than one child theme.

Hi there,
Marketpress is active.
I thought the child theme remained within the parent folder itself?
So
/theme/framemarket/gridmarket
or do i actually need to move it to /theme/gridmarket
leaving /theme/framemarket/ intact also?
right now i have it as extracted

The steps are this:
1. Get latest version
2. Put framemarket/ in themes/
3. Put gridmarket/ from framemarket/themes into themes/
4. Activate gridmarket

so there is no need to network activate framemarket at all? just grid market? even though it acts as a parent?

Oups just found a solution in another thread, so never mind the above!

ditto same problem as fondeli now
all i see is in themes is
FrameTheme by Kai
FrameMarket (it says not to use this as its the parent) by Tammie
grid is in the /themes folder just not on the installed themes list

great could you link that for me please Fondeli :)

There is no need to link to another parent and I haven't a clue what FrameTheme by Kai is that isn't part of this theme...
To recap:
1. Get latest version
2. Put framemarket/ in themes/
3. Put gridmarket/ from framemarket/themes into themes/
4. Activate gridmarket
