I just installed the farms 133 theme pach and notice that 17 themes need updates. Should I update them? I remember reading that the themes in this pack have been customized for wp mu in some ways. Will I lose those changes if I run the theme updates?

Hpathy,
Thank You for bringing this to our attention and you are correct if you have just downloaded them you should not update them to the latest version
Our versions have been customized to work on multi site and fix any bugs and updating them could cause issues
I'm using the farms pack on a sandbox site and cannot see any updates being called for to verify what you are seeing, perhaps you can provide a list of the themes you are seeing that need updating?
Best and many thanks!

My apologies on the delay here :)
We have been looking into what has been causing this and it takes some time to check through all the themes. (there are alot of them) haha
Mohanjith will be around shortly with an update :)

I agree ...but just a note that you are looking into it would have kept me satisfied.
But when there is no word, there is no way for me to know whether someone is looking into this...or the thread has got buried in the hundreds that you receive daily!

Hi
I'm not from staff, but there is something I see there... all the 17 templates tell you are version 1.3.6, but version 1.3.6 is the current 133-theme pack version, it shouldn't say it's the individual version for each of the template...
personnaly I would say your themes are all up-do-date, but as the version of each of the 17 is a higher number than 1.3.6, it tells you they are not up-to-date (so this would mean the version number of all the other 116 others must be lower? can you check that?)
maybe this helps to solve things, maybe Mohanjith had already seen that, I'll tell him during the chat session coming in 15 minutes. (I'm also interested in the theme pack)
have a nice day!

Issue is with the update notification plugin. Can you make sure you are running the latest update notification plugin?

Sorry, didn't see your response before.
I'm unable to reproduce the issue with 3.1.1 .
Can you please send your FTP details and wp-admin details to see what might be happening via the contact form?
