I'm trying to translate pro sites and have edited the PO file using Codestyling Localization plugin, however, the changes don't go into effect. i refreshed the page several times, still the text does not get translated.
Do i have to activate the translated file somewhere?
This is my first time translating the plugin and it's not working as expected.

Codestyling localization does not work fine on a multisite.
You must use the POEDIT software, translate the po file (the mo file will be automatically generated) and then place it in the pro site language folder...

Well, I tried the poedit and uploaded the both the psts-default.po and the new psts-default.mo file into languages folder
however, the translation does not appear on actual website.
do I have change some other files in prosites to enable the new translation?

the file must be named according to your language code : psts-fr_FR.mo for example.

Hiya,
As Aphrodite mentions, you must have the naming convention correct - and it must match what you have for wplang in your wp-config.
Let us know if you still have difficulty.
Thanks!

Hiya,
Just checking if it was eventually resolved in another thread? Or by yourself separately to us? Or by us over email with you? Or using our live support?
If so, no need to reply, that's great news.
If not, could you let us know by re-opening this topic, and we'll get onto it and helping you out asap!
Otherwise, happy days, glad you got it sorted :)
Thanks!

Hi,
I translated the language file to hebrew and uploaded psts-default-he_IL.mo and psts-default-he_IL.po to the language directory. I also uploaded to wp-content/languages and nothing happened.
Is there anything I can do to check why it's not translating?
Thanks!

Hiya @ruthnis,
Do you have your language called correctly in the wp-config file?
Take a look here and make sure you've got it all setup:

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need anything further!

Hi,
I do have the correct language and all the other plugins work o.k.
The language for the site in sites screen is he_IL.
Any other thing to check?
thanks,
Ruth

Hiya ruthnis,
That's strange. It should work exactly the same as all other plugins/products.
Can you explain where you mean for this? I'm not sure I understand.
There really isn't much else to it. Sounds like you're familiar with translating plugins and how this should work. Could you attach your po/mo files here so I could take a look?
Thanks!

I am attaching the po/mo files.
What I said is that the language is selected in the sites management screen because it is a multi site. The majority of the sites are in hebrew so the regular language files are wsorking o.k.
Thanks!
