Hello,
I have installed 1.0.2 and experienced the problems with error messages and image uploading as have been described in other posts - so I'm anxious to upgrade to the new version.
From the WPMUDev panel in my WP install, I see the upgrade is listed and highlighted. When I click on "download" it simply takes me to the main WPMUdev page for the Rebranding Plugin. So my question is... every time there is an upgrade, do I need to completely reinstall the plugin?
Also, if I click on the new version number (1.0.8), I am taken to the changelog page, and if I click on "download" for the current version, I am redirected to a blank page.
Please advise?
Thank you.

Hi Faithe76!
So let me first make sure I understand correctly; you've installed v1.0.2 and can see error messages and you're having trouble uploading images?
Are you still having those problems or have you dealt with them with advice from another thread?
Secondly I understand you're asking about the upgrade information. At the moment, while we change the way many of our plugins work to be compatible with the newest version of WordPress you may see that the notifications plugin tells you to upgrade when in fact you already have.
We're aware of this and would ask you to bear with us while we make sure we re-align all of our plugins to fix this.
Lastly, I believe you're asking if you need to re-install plugins each time there is an upgrade?
You should be able to simple download the updated plugin and replace the existing files with the new ones. Alternatively, our latest versions should work using the automatic upgrade feature which means you can upgrade within your WordPress backend.
I hope that helps to answer your queries! Give me a shout if you need anything more :)

Sorry for the trouble guys, the trouble is the way we packaged multiple plugins together.
We've decided to split them up to fix it and allow autoupdates. We'll do that next week.

Phil,
Thanks for the reply. Yes I am still having problems - the suggestions from the other threads dealt with hacking the main wp files, and although I could do this, I would rather use your plugin to do it cleanly.
I appreciate the explanation about the plugin updates! That makes sense, and I'll look forward to when it's sorted out. I'm sure it will be fantastic.
Aaron,
Not a problem. Thanks for the hard work.

Faithe,
Glad we could help with those bits! I understand your hesitation to edit the files - something I steer away from myself!
If you're happy to wait for Aaron's updates next week then I suggest that's best in your case :)

I'm bummed! I just installed the new version of the Login Image plugin (since you guys split the Rebranding Plugin apart) and it still won't work for me. I uploaded my logo image (sized to the proper dimensions) a couple of times, but neither try would "take". The wordpress logo still stayed. I'm not going to spend any more time on using a plugin... I think I'm gonna go change the files myself and cross my fingers it doesn't mess me up in the future!

Faithe,
I'm sorry you haven't received a response on this. I'd really like to get to the bottom of this!
Would you be up for telling me what steps you went through to upgrade to the new version?
Thanks!
