Installed Ultimate Branding and enabled Login Image, Global Footer Content, Dashboard Footer Content, Rebranded Meta Widget, Site Generator Replacement, Network Wide Text Change, Custom Admin CSS and Custom Login CSS.
Now I visit sites in the network - still showing as <div id="site-generator"><a href="http://wordpress.org/"

Hey,
Once you enabled the plugin, go to Site Generator settings and hit save. Maybe that will fix it.
And try in another browser so as to make sure there is no caching effect.
See the screenshot attached. It worked for me :)
Let me know!

Arun,
I was not notified of your response for some reason.
I did a hard refresh and the info was still there but then navigated to another page and it went away,
Thanks for the help.

@weisdaclick I think its caching at some level acting up, give it a day or two and I think that should clear up.
