Hi,
I've got a (serious) problem when using Ultimate Facebook with bbPress 2.0.
Pages which list all forums simply are "empty".
yoursite.com/forums for example
(look at the captures : ultimate facebook activated vs ultimate facebook deactivated)
I'm using the latest version of Ultimate Facebook (version 1.4.3) but the same problem was here with previous versions (I only didn't knew Ultimate Facebook was the culprit).

Hiya,
I've just tried this in a completely clean installation using the default theme and with only bbPress and Ultimate Facebook activated and I didn't get the same issue.
Can you do the following please?
- revert to the default theme
- deactivate all plugins except bbPress and Ultimate Facebook
- re-save permalinks
- try again
If you still see the issue, let me know. Otherwise, follow these steps, checking which causes the issue to return;
1. re-activate your theme
2. re-activate plugins one-by-one

Hiya,
Just checking if it was eventually resolved in another thread? Or by yourself separately to us? Or by us over email with you? Or using our live support?
If so, no need to reply, that's great news.
If not, could you let us know by re-opening this topic, and we'll get onto it and helping you out asap!
Otherwise, happy days, glad you got it sorted :)

I did all of this but the problem was still here...
Thanks,
Laurent
PS : I had a problem when trying to set back permalinks to the custom format I am using.
I had to reinstall a backup of my website because of that. I didn't find out what happened. Do you think it could be related ? (I didn't understand why you asked me to re-save permalinks)

Hiya,
As we haven't heard back from you we're going to assume the problem was sorted out and mark this thread as resolved.
If it wasn't resolved, or you have any more questions related to this thread please feel free to post them below and tick the 'Mark as Not Resolved (re-open)' box below the post area (or else we'll miss it!)
Otherwise, thanks for using the forums, and, as always, for being a member of WPMU DEV, it's a pleasure to help you out and we look forward to being of assistance in the future.
I just found this topic after Googling the same problem.
My bbPress forums had disappeared, so working back on latest changes I deactivated Ultimate Facebook plugin and they re-appeared. I activated Ultimate again and the forums broke again. I have a lot of other plugins in there but felt this was proof enough that it's a conflict somewhere with Ultimate that is the issue.
Only relevant error log I can see is;
[27-Feb-2012 09:15:49] PHP Warning: Missing argument 2 for Wdfb_AdminPages::publish_post_on_facebook() in /wp-content/plugins/wpmu-dev-facebook/lib/class_wdfb_admin_pages.php on line 529
[27-Feb-2012 09:15:49] PHP Warning: Missing argument 3 for Wdfb_AdminPages::publish_post_on_facebook() in /wp-content/plugins/wpmu-dev-facebook/lib/class_wdfb_admin_pages.php on line 529
and that might not be related of course.
I have bbPress 2.0.2 and Ultimate version 2.0 installed.
Here's the latest which I think might shed some light on the problem, and possible solution.
I stripped this back to only the two plugins and a basic twenty eleven theme - same issue - forums disappear when Ultimate enabled. At that point I noticed the warning message on the dashboard;
"Your active theme does not include bbPress template files. Your forums are using the default styling included with bbPress."
So, I then enabled the bbPress (Twenty Ten) 1.2 by WordPress and bbPress teams theme, and the problem goes away i.e. bbPress and Ultimate work together.
This leads me to think that the fix is to get the bbPress files into the theme and see if that fixes it.
I had some issues with displaying bbpress as well, but I ended up using the shortcodes instead of bothering with all the coding, fit better with my site. You can find them here

Hmm possibly. As you're still seeing the issue with just the basics it could be database problem of some sort.
Can you get access to your error logs we can take a look at those please?

I'm having the exact same trouble. bbPress works with the twentyten theme and UF activated but no other themes. Any help on this?
Thanks

Hey Guys!
I did some searching and found this on the bbpress site:
http://bbpress.org/forums/topic/bbpress-20-theme-compatibility
I had some issues with displaying bbpress as well, but I ended up using the shortcodes instead of bothering with all the coding, fit better with my site. You can find them here

Best of Luck!
Kimberly
