Hey guys,
1. Could you help me understand the differences between the Languages Plugin and the Translator Plugin. Is there one you'd recommend over the other if they're both essentially the same?
2. I installed the Ultimate Translation plugin, dropped it into plugins and activated sitewide per Andrew's comment in another thread. Choose a few languages and had it go through the translation. Can't get the widget to show and get the following errors over and over in my error log:
[Mon Jun 07 20:31:31 2010] [error] [client 173.57.89.95] PHP Fatal error: Class 'WP_Sequential_Task_Scheduler' not found in XXXXX/wp-content/mu-plugins/ultimate-translation-plugin.php on line 831, referer: http://outloudblogs.com/wp-admin/

Since the errors are all referring to mu-plugins should I move the plugin back into mu-plugins per the instructions or is there a line of code I should change to reference the new location?

I'm not really sure which plugins you're referring too. I'm guessing that the second one is our Ultimate Translate plugin (am I correct?) but I have no clue on the first one.
@andrew yes, I'm talking about the Ultimate Translation and Languages plugins. I'm using 2.8.6.
@dr mike - thanks for the link. I did read through it before I posted but I wanted a little more knowledge, I guess I should have been a little more specific, but my sleeping pill was kicking in and I wanted to go to sleep. Maybe I'll state my understanding of the two and you could confirm whether or not I understand. Basically, the Languages plugin, along with Language at Signup, is for users who want to begin blogging on a WPMU site but are fluent in a language other than English. While the translation plugin can be used to translate existing pages, posts so they're ready to be served to a user in their native tongue based on browser language, IP address and/or some combination of the two.
Is that about it? Or am I leaving out something important.
It appears that you have the plugin installed in mu-plugins but missing some files. Either install in mu plugins as per instructions or delete from there and activate sitewide in the plugins folder.
@aaron. ok made sure all of the ultimate translation files and folders were removed from mu-plugins and installed and activated sitewide in wp-content/plugins. i'm thinking it translated everything just fine because when I tried translating everything using the 'Translate Everything" button the progress box stated each post and/or page had already been translated. Two issues:
(1) Now I'm getting this error: [Tue Jun 08 13:55:43 2010] [error] [client 66.249.71.74] PHP Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in XXX/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-translation-plugin/ultimate-translation-plugin.php on line 2155
[Tue Jun 08 13:55:27 2010] [error] [client 76.218.24.242] PHP Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in XXX/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-translation-plugin/ultimate-translation-plugin.php on line 2155, referer: http://focusontherainbowsportsedition.sportsfags.com/
(2) Whenever I try to see if the translation worked by appending the two letter language code within the URL I get redirected back to the English translation. Example domain.com/es/about takes me to domain.com/about
(3) Can't get the widget to show in sidebars. I've turned super-cache off and on and still no widget for the sidebar.

Hiya,
Which version of WordPress MU are you using?

Hiya,
"languages for wordpress mu" is just a language pack. It doesn't translate posts or anything like that.
Yep, that's it.
Thanks,
Andrew
