I'm rolling out 2.7 to clients tomorrow so I may have to beat him to it. We have a Gallery upgrade later this week and with client installs at 3,100 for Gallery vs. 46 for mu, I think Gallery may take a bit longer for me. :)
but i have 2.5 and i want to 2.6! wanna update wpmu with multi-db so wondering if i can with plugin on or i must create 1 db and convert again after update?

Yep, it's compatible up to 2.6.5. A 2.7 compatible version is also in the works. A lot of known issues are being fixed and a ton of improvements are being made so it's taken a bit.

That sounds great. Do you have a time estimate on the release of the 2.7 compatible version? I have a hard deadline on a project and am dependent on that plugin. No pressure :-)

I believe he's waiting for 2.7 to be released officially until he releases his own updates.
