Usually if a secondary files are going into mu-plugins they would go into their own folder so that you would have mu-plugins > domain mapping folder > classes folder + images folder + languages folder + license.txt .....and then you would remove the domain-mapping.php and have that in mu-plugins ... As a best practice, this prevents the mu-plugins folder from becoming clogged with a a ton of licenses and random folders from various plugins ... we would test this but since we're on a production install, we'll wait until we get a final word from a dev. :)

Greetings :-)
one thing nobody mentioned here though I did in another related post - was that I did not over write sunrise.php because my sunrise.php is from Multi-Domains and would suspect if I went straight through and over wrote my Multi Domains sunrise.php file with this one something is going to break.

Greetings Mark de Scande :-)
you are absolutely right - this would certainly take care of any possible sunrise.php problems :-) in addition to making the install more streamlined to include less instruction which means less chance of error on the installers part :-)

Hey guys
How to upgrade Domain Mapping
Download it and then upload:
domain-mapping.php - /wp-content/mu-plugins
sunrise.php - /wp-content
If you want to update all the language files just upload them to /wp-content/mu-plugins
Thx
Mark

Hiya Mark,
Yep, glad you got that sorted. You just overwrite previous version files and that should take care of it. Thanks for posting that back here.

Where does class.domains go? is it in the wp-includes folder?
Member par excellence — 12th January 2012 (4 months ago) #
I have put them in:
/wp-content/mu-plugins classes + images + languages + domain-mapping.php + license.txt
/wp-content/ sunrise.php
I hope this helps :)

Agreed. @DavidM - can you update the install instructions page for this plugin?

See line 4. of the install instructions:
http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/multi-domains/installation/
and though I did not over write my sunrise.php with the upgrade, everything is working fine that I can tell.
