Upgrade from WPMU to WP3 with BP theme & Plugin Generates Warning & all Images broken

Pro

Recently upgraded from WPMU to WP 3.0.1 with BuddyPress Social 1.1.8 as my theme and using the BuddyPress Plugin Version 1.2.5.2. As soon as the plugin is activated in the Dashboard, I receive the following message through the primary blog and the Dashboard:

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/kenleyneufeld/classes.kenleyneufeld.com/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core.php on line 315

If I deactivate the plugin, the error disappears but then so do the features of the plugin that I want and need for the site. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin with the same result.

Further, all the images on the site seem to be broken. Could be related?

Any direction or support is appreciated.

The images are because you still need to change the line in your .htacess file.

For BP, that's tough as it's a core function. Do you have any other plugins installed, especially BP ones?

Pro

Discovered the plugin causing the error. It was the Twire plugin. Disabled and error disappeared.

I will work on the .htaccess file for the images. What line should I be looking for?

Reading the thread over here with the suggestion to add a line to my .htaccess file.

RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$2 [L]

Unfortunately, this didn't do the trick. Perhaps I lost the images directory with the upgrade. Not even sure where to look for the images, but I'll snoop through a backup unless you have specific ideas.

Pro

OK. All the images are in my /wp-content/blogs-dir folder on the server and I added the above RewriteRule but they still don't appear. What am I missing?

Pro

The images load in the browser if I put the entire path in /blogs.dir/...

Here is my current .htaccess file:

For others you need to remove:
RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-content/blogs.php?file=$2 [L]

Also, it is gunked up with cache rules. I sure hope you are not using w3 total cache and supercache together. Remove the rules for the plugin you are not using.
