for all versions since 3.0 as it is a single file and we try our hardest to make it backwards compatible with existing configuration files.
In this latest version we have included another plugin called "fix db encoding" which can be used if you have any encoding / strange character issues you might experience if your wp-config.php file encoding is different to your database encoding as WP versions are now forcing the use of UTF8 (older versions of WordPress used Latin1 for encoding).
The version 3.1.2 zip file doesn't have those files in it - but now you know what jazzy functionality we have in development for the next big release :)

Hi Jamshid,
I'm not quite familiar with the recent changes on this. I'll ask one of the developers how the upgrade should go.

The upgrade for multi-db is always:
for all versions since 3.0 as it is a single file and we try our hardest to make it backwards compatible with existing configuration files.

Thank you Barry - I've just replaced db.php and it seems that I am done.

I've noticed a new folder "plugin" in this latest version of Multi-db 3.1.1 which was not in 3.0.6, where shall I upload that folder?

Hi it's empty so ignore it - shouldn't have been zipped up, so I'll remove it from the file.

Hi There,
In the latest version of Multi-db 3.1.1 there is another plugin that allows us to setup and monitor our Multi-database installation.
Is this ready to use? The folders look a little empty...
Thanks,
Michael
