I read in some posts that it would cause a major code addition. HOW?? just pull more data.

Hey wclune,
Am sorry man, but this doesn't make any sense to me. What are we talking about here?

We have sold a bunch of stuff for an event. Tshirts, hats, pins and such. there are 400 orders, I poorly assumed in the end i would get a spread sheet of sorts with some details? now it is crunch time and i am forced to print every order and do a hand tally of what to order sizes and such. WOW 2012 and i need to hand tally?!
In a few other posts on this matter a lead programmer said it would require major code changes, I wonder why we only need output of quantity and SKU's. The export feature is limited but it grabs data just give us more data.

Hey wclune,
I am not a seller myself, never been one, so I really don't know what exactly you are looking for. The export of orders looks pretty neat to me.
Can you provide a sample of what you are looking for?
If you export the pending orders and then delete the unwanted columns, wouldn't that do the job?
Enlighten me please (too dramatic? lol). Thanks!

Selling items (tshirts and hats) for an event. 6 colors of shirts each with 6 size variants. when the cutoff date happens we order the shirts and hats in the sizes. I accepted that we would need to print all the orders... lots of them. but now we must must do a hand tally on each order.
I need a total of sales on each sku if i could find where in the database they were hidden i would try to manually dittle it and hope it does bust!
It shocks me this hasn't been put up front along with a continue shopping button but i have barked enough on that subject.

Hiya,
Let me just ping the dev and see if we can work out something for you. Makes sense to me.

@wclune, Correct there is an export of your orders on the Manage Orders screen at the bottom. But this does not provide item details. Probably something we can add in some future release. I'm fairly new to MarketPress coding so I know I was not the one who commented this would take massive time and coding. Let me see if I can figure out a down and dirty specific solution for you. Be back with a reply in a few (I hope).

@wclune, I should be able to whip up some code for you to plugin into your theme which will export the order details. This will not be something within MarketPress or wp-admin. Nothing that fancy. Can you advise on exactly what fields you need for the item details? I'll try and have it for you in the morning.
