I've recently installed whmcs with my pianoteacherpro.com website. I'm going through the directions and I installed the WP multisite integration plugin, then added my HOST URL: (not sure if I added the right URL) which is http://www.pianoteacherpro.com/portal
When I go into my WHMCS installation and go to the addon "WHMCS WordPress Multisite Provisioning" the status box just says "Not Installed" when of course it is.
How can I get WHMCS to recognize the the WP multisite plugin?

Greetings coreymprice,
Thank you for this great question and bringing this significant issue to our attention to include the detailed input.
After looking over your post very carefully I noticed that there are indeed a few anomalies within.
I just checked your site located at http://www.pianoteacherpro.com/portal and this does not look like the portal template. You must have the portal template chosen on your main install of WHMCS for WHMCS WP Integration plugin to work correctly.
Logged into WHMCS go to Setup --> General --> Template --> Portal
Here in this ticket it is indicating the WHMCS WP Integration plugin and then in your post you mention a different plugin WHMCS MU Provisioning plugin
Please advise what plugin we are working with and the template presented in WHMCS.
Cheers, Joe

I'm trying to get the WHMCS Wordpress Multisite Provisioning plugin to work. (sorry about the confusion)
I went through all the set up steps. When I go to my WHMCS installation and then to Addons and look up the WHMCS WP Multisite Provisioning addon to activate it, I just see the gray box that says "Not Installed"
I wasn't sure if I was entering the right URL in the admin of my WP site for "Remote WHMCS host" which is currently http://www.pianoteacherpro.com/portal
I tried just putting in the root domain, http://www.pianoteacherpro.com which is suggested in another post, but no luck.
I'm not sure why WHMCS is not detecting that I have the Multisite Provisioning plugin installed.

I finally noticed the install instructions within the plugin folder which are much more detailed and helpful rather than using the "usage" tab where the plugin is downloaded.
In the instructions, it's necessary to add a server in WHMCS admin > Setup > Products/Services > Servers.
There is where I started to configure the new server. In the installation instructions for WP Multisite Provisioning, step 5 of == WHMCS Server Module configuration == it says Set the Type to whmcs_multisite
I clicked the drop down box with all the server types listed and there is no whmcs_multisite listed. So, I think that's my problem. I can't pick the right server type because it's not there.
I'm guessing that's why my WHMCS installation says "Not Installed" in the addon box for "WHMCS WordPress Multisite Provisioning"

Greetings coreymprice,
Thank you for that detailed input concerning the WHMCS MU Provisioning plugin, it is greatly appreciated.
It appears that some of the items may have not been accomplished, so lets see what we can dig into here and see if we can spot the problem.
As mentioned in the plugin usage instructions you have:
Uploaded the modules to your WHMCS installation as shown?
You have created you Group of servers in your WHMCS installation as shown?
You have setup the "MultiSite server" in your WHMCS installation as shown?
Please advise.

I'm up to the step of setting up the Multisite Server but that is where I am stuck.
When I try to pick the server type, there is no option for multisite in the list of servers. This may be on the WHMCS side of things but this is kind of a crucial part, right.
If no one can currently choose a multisite server in their WHMCS installation, then no one can successfully install the Multisite Provisioning Plugin. Right? or am I missing something?

Oh, just got a response from WHMCS. I should have known the server wouldn't be listed until the server module inside of the Provisioning Plugin is installed right.
I've installed the server module on top of the WHMCS server module folder. For some reason I can't get the multisite server to show up in Server Type.

Okay, I got server and addon installed in the right folders now, silly me.
I was able to choose whmcs_multisite from the server type list.
but still the addon WHMCS WordPress Multisite Provisioning is still showing "Not Installed".
I don't know what else I'm supposed to do.

Greetings coreymprice,
Thank you for the additional input, it is greatly appreciated.
If you do not mind telling us, are the installation instructions to the plugin faulty or showing to put the server module or add on multisite folder in the wrong place or?
I am only asking to see if there in an error in the instructions or missing this altogether?
We would want to prevent Members from having to fight with this issue in the future if possible.
Please advise.
