Will Anti-splog Be Troubled For New User Sign Ups After Membership Expiration?

I just have a curious question about anti-splog plugin. When my membership for WPMUDEV runs out, even though anti-splog stops working, and I don't want to remove or to deactivate anti-splog, will new users be able to sign up? The reason I'm asking this because anti-splog is closely tied to the sign up process, and its recaptcha form is also tied to the sign up process.
