Hello
I am new to wpmu premium and am in the process of installing plugins. Most are straight forward but I'm finding wpmu multi-db to be a bit cumbersome.
I would like to know if there is an established member of the community I can pay a small fee to do this for me. And, also to install the support plugin.
I emailed the folks who own this site, but they told me that they do not take these types of projects - probably not worth their time :)

I need to get myself on that list. :)
Just curious since we're talking about it. How does everybody accept payment? Granted I have a merchant account but that goes straight into the hosting budget. Paypal is, well, Paypal. Some of my own clients cut a check or purchase order which we then follow up on. Just wondering what other folks use.
edit: And a few do the money wrapped in paper and stuck in an envelope. I like those. :)

Speaking of payments, are there any other payment gateways that you guys like to use? We've pretty much focused on PayPal in the past but it would be nice to offer a choice with out plugins.

We're all Paypal over here I believe. I'll go ask. Worldpay's too expensive and for those who can't or won't use Paypal, other arrangements are usually made.
howdy - I had someone (recommended by Andrew) who was going to help me with this and a few other wpmu things, but he seems to have disappeared. So, I'll email you jaber and dr mike to see if one of you are available.
Only prob with Google Checkout is it does not support reoccurring trans. But would be great for single purchases. I've used 2checkout.com... it's OK expensive fees

Anyone? I'm really hoping to find someone to help with this. I will pay you. I'm not asking to have the work done for free. :)

Does anyone have any experience paying via authorize.net?

I've never worked with that service.
Thanks,
Andrew

can anyone install Multi-DB for me?
Erstwhile founder — 11th November 2009 (2 years ago) #
Hiya,
We're more than happy to assist by answering any questions you may have but I'm afraid we don't install plugins.
If you're looking to hire someone you may want to take a look at our jobs section:

Thanks,
Andrew
