we get a default Apache/C-Panel page, and any subdomains carnaval.bz/london bring up the 404 message.
Wondering if there's something in the configuration we overlooked? Taking a look at our database tables, there doesn't seem to be any entry that points specifically to the old IP address. Thinking this may be a configuration issue on the server side (we have a support ticket open) but any advice is much appreciated.

Go to http://www.whatsmydns.net/#A/www.carnaval.bz and see if the IP address that is returned matches your new IP address. If not, as David mentions, it would suggest a propagation issue.
If it does, it is likely an issue to discuss with your host.

I think DavidM is correct - sounds like a propagation issue.
Lets check... http://www.intodns.com/carnaval.bz http://www.carnaval.bz [207.58.170.222]
Is that the dedicated ip? I think it is, so it has propagated, but...
Mmm, According to the link above - It looks like you have some dns issues.
At time of writing... Different subnets - WARNING: Not all of your nameservers are in different subnets Different autonomous systems - WARNING: Single point of failure
Not sure what that means, but looks like it might cause your issue - perhaps someone smarter than me can comment?
Edit: @Airfoil, posted over you ;) Cool another dns checker for my toolbox - cheers ;)
I went through this 2 weeks ago when I setup a dedicated IP for my MU installation. To ensure that everything is setup correctly, view your site through a proxy like http://hidemyass.com. Since it is a proxy it uses a direct connection to your website's current dns settings bypassing the propogation.
Propagation is sometimes a scary wait cause you never know if it worked correctly. Check it using the proxy and see if it works. It took a total of 3 days for everything on my MU install to settle down. It also helps to clear your browser cache too when you are checking. If you are using domain mapping (with nameservers pointing), you still have more work to do, to get your domains pointing to your IP correctly using the A record method.

Hiya Chris,
I'm not totally sure this would be the case but the following forum thread mentions that it may just be a matter of DNS propagation.
http://forums.cpanel.net/f34/problem-ip-great-success-apache-working-your-cpanel-whm-server-71312.html
Not sure if it would help any, but have you by any chance tried accessing the IP directly?
Cheers,
David

@Airfoil,
Actually, that is an awesome link, love how it tells you where it has / hasn't propagated in the world. Points coming your way for that share ;)

Thanks for the help, all. Turned out there was an issue with the nameserver configuration, which was resolved with out hosting service.
