Greetings YourNextHost,
I believe your problem is WPML and that it is either outdated or not compatible with WordPress 3.4
Can you please confirm that you have WPML on your installation?
If so FTP in and delete WPML related products and your update should go as anticipated.
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe

Hi Joe,
Just did as advised and still getting the same errors on the network.
What else could it be?

Greetings YourNextHost,
I do not know which plugin is then causing the conflict but the WPML was indeed causing this exact error on my installation when I upgraded.
Are you sure you deleted all WPML plugins including the WPML String Translation?
When this first happened to me the first thing I did was rename the plugins folder to prove that indeed it was a plugin.
Please try that and if this fixes your installation we then know that it is a 100% plugin issue - then comes the hard part figuring out which one since you can no longer get into the dashboard.
In that case you could, while still under WP 3.3.2, deactivate all plugins and then update to 3.4 and should still have access to the admin dashboard. The next thing to do is to activate the plugins one at a time until you hit the one that takes you installation down again. Then FTP in and delete it.
Please advise.
Cheers, Joe

Greetings YourNextHost,
Thank you for letting us know what it was and that this issue is now resolved.
Hopefully that is the total of the fallout from the update to WordPress 3.4 for all of us.
Thank you for being a WPMU Dev Member!

hi aecnu,
i tried to do a repair on the install and i got the below message. it has been like that since i tried to repair WP install (over 24 hours)
WordPress can automatically look for some common database problems and repair them. Repairing can take a while, so please be patient.
any advice on how to clear that?

Greetings YourNextHost,
Is your site working correctly or does it display it is in maintenance mode?
Or is the WordPress can automatically look for some common database problems and repair them. Repairing can take a while, so please be patient. statement the only symptom?
Have you dumped your browser cache or site cache if using caching on your web site?
Marking this ticket as unresolved.
Please advise.

You're getting this message everytime you load a page or just on the maint page?
How many sites approx. are on there?
I just did a test run on mine and it was fine.
Thanks.

Hi Timothy on all pages and on all sites within the installation

Thanks I received that.
Just waiting on your error log to download. Its currently at 3.6GB in size, worth always checking on those and then clearing them out once any issues are fixed.
Once its downloaded I'll continue to look through this.
Thanks.

Hi Timothy,
Any updates?
Thanks

The connection is slow to your server and whilst download the 3.6GB error log I left it over night and came back to find out my connection was cut from your server again.
I initiated the download of the log file again so I can see any errors.
Thanks.

That 3.6GB error-log would need to be removed, thats huge. :)
The issues seems to be that you installed the Multi DB plugin incorrectly.
I've moved that out of the plugin folder for now it is in /plugins-dis/ for now so you can look at resolving that.
Sites are back on.
Take care.

Hi Timothy,
It seems we are still having problems.
Could you please check the install again and advice what to do?
Thanks and take care

Looking at this again there seems to be an issue with Sitepress there which I believe is WPML.
Because your error log is so huge it is hard for me to see the exact issue there, its probably not WPML on its own.
With over 140 plugins it hard to know for sure without seeing those logs. Please clean them out so that they are no longer 3.6gb in size we can then regenerate the error to see.
Thanks.

Hi Timothy,
I have emptied the log file.
let me know if this helps out

Wow there are tons of errors spewing out every hour.
I think the first thing to do is ensure all themes are up to date this would include the Network Child theme.
One of the plugins was trying to redeclare the wp_mobile function, that is probably the reason for the white screens:
You will have to find which plugin is doing that and clashing.
Then one of the other themes:
I'd look for an update to that and see if it resolves that fatal.
I see the first error in the new log was 1520 UTC and between then and 2237 UTC there has been 3854 lines of errors.
The vast majority seem to be DB related errors relating to missing tables, did you rename some table or use a plugin which supposedly renames tables?
Real sorry but based on the volume of errors this would be something out of the scope of support you will need to either look at fixing these yourself or hiring a developer to help you out.
Take care.

Unfortunately we don't have a recommended list. But you are most welcome to try out the jobs section:
http://premium.wpmudev.org/wpmu-jobs
Or if you use some freelance site ensure you get their credentials, reviews and only use something like Escrow so you can assess their work first.
Take care.
