I'm encountering a number of issues since updating Nelo to 2.2.1/2.2.2 but I've been asked in the past to start new topics for multliple issues here, so here goes...
After updating to 2.2.1 and then again to 2.2.2 I discovered that the search results page no longer displays the sidebar that showed in 2.1.7. The template file in lib/cs/templates/wp-template/result.php includes no call for the sidebar, but this was the case in 2.1.7 too. But in the previous version, the template resided in the root. I'm using a child theme, and my customizations are showing with modified template files in child/lib/cs/templates/wp-template/ but the sidebar is gone.

Just to check, if you try it with the parent theme, does the sidebar display then? Just wondering if your child theme might need to be updated.

Nope. Never heard from Richie with an answer for this. But I guess I should be able to add the sidebar back to that template file.

Richie? Any chance you can tell us how to get the sidebar back on the search results page? Please!
FYI: I just confirmed the sidebar does show if results are found. But if no search results are returned both the sidebar and bottom content disappear.
Please advise how we can get the sidebar and bottom content to display when there are no results.
In v. 2.1.7 the elements display without any search results, but not in 2.2.5 and I can't figure out where to fix this.

Also, just noticed this error has creeped back up again...
