This widget does exactly what it says on the box - it allows you to display a list of all the latest comments from across your entire site on your frontpage - or anywhere else for that matter :)

First up, you'll need to drop in our Comment Indexer to mu-plugins, followed by this widget, but after that it couldn't be simpler.

After installing you just go Appearance > Widgets and add the Recent Global Comments widget to your sidebar

Of course you can style it however you choose - and there are a raft of configurable options to choose from! To display the user avatars you will need to install the avatars plugin
