mysql php site migration to buddypress

The project involves taking an existing site that has a gallery, thousands of users, thousands of photos that are written an an easy to understand PHP code and MySQL schema - documented that need to be converted over into a Wordpress and Buddypress basis. The content of the galleries needs to be moved over into a buddypress gallery style and maintain ownership. For example, some members of the site have uploaded hundreds of photos, when those photos were imported into buddypress, they would need to maintain the reference back to the authors. Additionally, there are forums and forums posts within the existing MySQL database that would need to be moved over into a buddypress forum as well. Additional functions that need to be done are: 1. Specific authors could have their content show up in the main page feed - these must be selected by the admin 2. Photos/posts could be selected by admins that could then be put into the main site feed 3. Each person has their own blog but if their quality is good enough, the admins could select them to contribute to the main-page feed 4. Feeds can be influenced by rating of the posts, for example if certain photos are tagged with a very high rating, they could then be selected to the main site activity feed
