Hustle Gets Awesome Triggers (Adblock, Leave Intent & More) and Integrations Galore
When we released our first version of our email opt-in plugin for WordPress Hustle last month we asked you what you wanted… and today, here’s a delivery of goodness to your ultimate email opt-in and soon-to-be all-in-one-marketing-machine.
Updated: 2/8/2019 – Hustle now has his own Gutenberg block. Version 3.0.7 has improved compatibility with Visual Composer, a developer API upgrade, reCAPTCHA integrations and better support for Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign users.
Specifically, we’ve added a whole BUNCH more integrations (based off of your requests, and we’re not done yet!) along with some triggers for your marketing that’ll, well, knock your socks off!Since this Hustle announcement, we’ve added a bunch more integrations and styles! New Email Platform Integrations
One of the most beautiful things about Hustle is the absolutely seamless integration with your favorite email marketing tools, and since we last spoke we’ve added Sendy, Get Response, Constant Contact and MailChimp Interest Groups. And of course Hustle already has regular ol’ MailChimp, Aweber and Campaign Monitor included.
But we’re not done there!
We’re literally looking to provide you with more integrations every fortnight along with the capacity to manage your own lists right through Hustle itself, allowing you to use, for example, our very own WordPress e-newsletter plugin and take complete control over your email marketing.
So let us know in the comments at the end of the post which other email integrations you’d like to see.
But the Real Magic is Triggers!
We’ve added some real goodies here to determine how you want to show your pop-up / slide-in / after content opt-in, and we think you’re going to like them very much.
So, where to start? Well, first up, how about exit-intent, a favorite of savvy marketers pretty much since they saw their very first .js file?
Just select the option and as soon as your unsuspecting visitor heads for the back button, their bookmarks or, well, anywhere but your awesome site…
Now here’s a popup (or slide in) to get your attention.
Very, very nice and effective.
And then there’s my personal favorite (despite being an official “Guardian of Adblock” – yep, I donated enough to get a signed certificate…), this particular trigger will activate when detecting Adblock.
Noooooooo… After all, you’re not showing visitors advertising, just giving them the opportunity to swap their email address for a nice ad-free experience!
And, of course, we’ll be constantly updating the code in Hustle to make sure that this works around the various new adblocking restrictions.
You’re welcome :)
And last, but not least, say hello to on-click goodness.
The thing I love most about this particular feature is its simplicity.
It basically allows you to set a lovely clickable button via shortcode, or determine a .class or #ID selector (for you more technical sorts) that launches your pop-up.
It’s a really nice way to promote a special offer, add a bit more pizazz to your calls to action, or generally just serve up some content whenever you like using a pop-up or slide in.
How Do You Like Them Puppies?
Very much so, we hope! And like I mentioned at the start of this post, we’ve got a whole bunch more on the way, too.
We’re literally not going to stop until this plugin (and a couple of special-sauce services!) take care of pretty much every marketing need you have.
So, go download Hustle today (if you haven’t already!) and/or just let us know what you’d like us to make for you :)
