ThemeThrift Releases Hurricane Sandy Relief Bundle of WordPress Themes and Plugins
I am continually amazed by how fast the WordPress community will mobilize to assist a cause. In the face of the devastation that Hurricane Sandy has wreaked on the American Northeast, some benevolent WordPress folks have teamed up to help victims in a unique way: by releasing free WordPress stuff.
If you love WordPress themes and plugins and are also wondering how you can help those hit hardest by the hurricane, then jump on board and donate $10 (or more!) for this sweet collection of 13 themes and 2 plugins.
Just pop on over to ThemeThrift.com and check out the deal. You ultimately get to choose the price of this bundle, so be generous and give as much as you are able. Act quickly and share this with your friends as well. This bundle expires on November 7, 2012.
Donations will support the American Red Cross
100% of the funds raised from the donations for this bundle will be donated to The American Red Cross. On the night that Sandy made landfall, the American Red Cross mobilized and opened 250 shelters across 16 states to provide overnight stays to nearly 11,000 people. As the Northeast continues to recover, relief efforts are going to be needed for weeks to continue to provide food, shelter, basic health care and other emergency services to help people get their lives back together.
The Hurricane Sandy Relief Bundle is presented as-is, with no ongoing support being offered for the themes after purchase. They will not be updated on ThemeThrift past November 7 but if you decide to participate in this fundraising drive, the themes and plugins will remain in your account for download past that date.
So join the crowd to lend a helping hand. Take advantage of this sweet download and give as much as you can. Let’s all join together to make a difference in the lives of others.
