Answer: They change the slug in the permalink from the default values (category and tag) to whatever you enter.

For example, let’s say you wanted to change the default “category” slug to “travel” because you have a travel site.

Default: www.example.com/category/books

New: www.example.com/travel/books

Tags would work the same way.

Default: www.example.com/tag/books

New: www.example.com/traveling/hotels
