301 redirect issues for subsite

having some trouble with a wildcard 301 redirect. We had a site in a subdirectory (prim****esis.com/newjob), but we moved it to a subdomain (newjob.prim****esis.com)

The problem is prim***esis.com is using www, and so the redirect forwards goes from:

https://www.prim***esis.com/newjob/wharton-welcome --> https://www.newjob.prim***esis.com/wharton-welcome

The extra www is breaking and not going to the correct page, which should be httsp://newjob..prim***esis.com/wharton-welcome

    Hey there Jonathan !
    Hope you are having a great day!

    I'm sorry to hear about the issue that you encountered. I just tried to replicate it on your site and it seems the issue has been fixed. "prim****esis.com/newjob" is perfectly redirecting for me to "newjob.prim****esis.com" without the "www". I requested some colleagues to check and they were not able to replicate this issue either. I'm assuming this was a temporary cache issue which might have caused it.

    Could you please let us know if you still can replicate this on your end?

    We'll be looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

    Kind regards,
