a different theme

I like your themes alot. However, there are some other themes out there that fit more to the design I am looking for with one of my projects. This one in particular, http://www.wpzoom.com/themes/tribune/. I also like your plugins and support. So I am wondering, how can I know if a theme not made by WPMU is compatible with your plugins and with multisite?

Good question! Actually, I’d say the best way to know is to ask the theme developer if the theme is designed according to WordPress themeing standards and best practices.

The Twenty Eleven them, and the BuddyPress default theme when using BuddyPress, provide a great method of testing a theme’s standard compliance in that plugins should work just as well with other themes as they do with these defaults themes. They sort of set the themeing standard.

There’s more discussion on this in specific through previous threads in the forums and I found the following with a quick search, in regard to Multisite compatible themes, a major consideration in this case:

Really though, it’s generally about compliance with the standards set by themes like Twenty Eleven and BP default theme.

    Hope this helps!
