activity wall using wall plugin

The plugin we are using for buddy press wall seems to causing problems. When we install the plugin, all of our pages become blank with only the header and no page or page content. This plugin must have been the problem causer earlier. We need this plugin in order to make it most like a facebook wall. What is the problem with the plugin? How can I fix it?

    Hey @Frank, hope you're doing well today! :slight_smile:

    First thing we'd want to check for is, does this happen with a default theme, like say, Twenty Fifteen? There's been a couple of reviews where this plugin didn't place nice with certain themes, due to how they have their page templates set up.

    Also, did you happen to see if it only happens when this plugin & BuddyPress are enabled, with your current theme active?

    For checking for conflicts with the active theme & the plugins, we've got a handy troubleshooting flowchart at the bottom of our Getting Support page:

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/getting-support/

    I'd also want to enable WordPress's debug mode by opening up your site's wp-config.php file, and changing this:

    define('WP_DEBUG', false);

    To this:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    And try loading that page again, seeing what errors come up on the page.

    Just to throw this out as an option though, I'm seeing that there's this plugin available for providing a Facebook-like wall experience:

    http://buddydev.com/plugins/facebook-like-user-activity-stream-for-buddypress/

    Something to consider. :slight_smile:

    Hope this helps!

    Kind Regards,
    Michael
