Add activity + options to status update form on non-activity page

Hi,

I’d like to use the added functionality from this plugin on a simple form that I’ve added via a shortcode on a normal wordpress page – not the buddypress activity page.

Please could you indicate if there is a php function that can be called to display the plugin options?
