Adjust Widths Of Forum Columns

I have a forums page at https://christiangayschat.com/forums/

I would like to make the “Forum” width much wider and narrow the widths of the “Topics”, “Posts” and “Freshness”.

Can you please tell me the coding I would need for Custom CSS.

I have granted Support Staff Access.

Many thanks!

    Hello Mary,

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

    I took a look at your site’s source code and I think these CSS rules will help:

    .bbp-forum-info {width:79%;}
    .bbp-forum-topic-count {width:5%;}
    .bbp-forum-reply-count {width:5%;}
    .bbp-forum-freshness {width:10%;}

    To apply them to your site please add them either to the style.css file of your child theme (if you’re using a child theme) or via a Simple Custom CSS plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/).

    What’s worth noting here:

    – if this code doesn’t work at all, please adjust it by adding “!important” flags to all rules like this:

    .bbp-forum-info {width:79%!important;}

    – you will probably want to alter those given widths so please just make sure that the sum of them equals 99% (not 100%).

    I hope that helps!

    Cheers,

    Adam
