    Hello stevethomas070861

    Welcome to WPMU community!

I hope you are well today and thanks for asking the question.

In settings, under "Accessibility settings", did you set Auto Confirm to yes? If you set then the admin should get an email. If you don't set and required a manual confirmation, please make sure you select the checkbox "(Re)send confirmation email". Only then admin will get an email.

If everything you done as mentioned above, it's worth to check your spam box too.

Please let me know further. I am here to help.

    Cheers
    Ash

    Hi Ash

    I have tried:

Send Notification to admin if confirmation is required: YES
Auto confirm: NO (Just realised that email to admin should only work if auto confirm is "NO", but I would be still be a good idea to be notified if a client has made an appointment if auto confirm is ON just so you are made aware of a new appointment)

Still no email notification to admin about pending appointment.

Changed status of pending appointment to confirmed: No email to client unless you check (Re)send confirmation email even though status has changed. If you check the (Re)send confirmation email then email is sent to client.

Changed status of pending appointment to confirmed: No email to client unless you check (Re)send confirmation email even though status has changed. If you check the (Re)send confirmation email then email is sent to client.

When you check the box, it will always send the email.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Steve

Finally I came to the point. The email sent to the admin doesn't mean that it will send to the user who has "administrator" role. What if you have more than one user in "administrator" role? In fact, A+ counts site owner as main admin and sends email to site owners email, that is set in Settings > General. I see in that settings you have set a different email address: nicky@beautyescape.co.uk and all the emails has been gone in that email. I checked with changing with my email address and it sent email to me. Screenshot attached.

Also for this testing I needed to create some test appointments with name Ash, sorry for that. Also thanks to PC, for the idea.

Hope it helps. If you have further question, please feel free to ask me.

    Cheers

    Hi Ash

    Update to my problem.

When I use a domain email (eg admin@beautysecrets.co.uk) for admin email (settings) nothing is sent to admin using this domain email address(no notification of appointment or when pending appointment requires attention.)

If I change to another admin email address all is working fine, Notifications all being sent to admin, service provider and client.

I have tested domain emails by sending from outlook and all is being received ok.

This is go-daddy email account but site is not hosted by them.

I switched to SMTP relay instead of PHP mail() function to send emails.and all is now working ok,

    Very Strange!

I would like to thank you and all involved in trying to get to the bottom of this.

    Regards
    Steve
