I am working on a Multisite and I am using the Affiliate plugin with the marketpress plugin. I have the percentage set to 25%. I have some sites setup to be used as affiliate sites. For instance, http://www.eyecandyaccessories.com/wendyknaub is a to be used as an affiliate site. (www.eyecandyaccessories.com is the main site). When a user click on the shop link (www.eyecandyaccesories.com/shop which I have setup as the affiliate link under the affiliate plugin) it should register as an affiliate link with the affiliate cookie and if someone checks out the affiliate (Wendy Knaub who is signed up as an affiliate) should get the percentage. I have her affiliate link as http://www.eyecandyaccessories.com/wendyknaub, unless it should be a different link.
I have been testing it as a standard customer, not logged in and I have the Affiliate Debug active so I can see the debugging messages. When it goes to the shop page, it says “The Not via an Affiliate cookie has been set. This means you are accessing the site via a valid WordPress logged in user. I am ignoring any future affiliate clicks for this browser session.” I’ve tried deleting the cookies, emptying the cache, etc., but I can’t seem to get the affiliate plugin to take the percentage off of the sale. I’ve searched around and I can’t seem to find and answer, but I am probably missing something. Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I can give you login access if that is easier as I have the wpmu dashboard plugin.
