Aggregate/Share Events across sites in a Multisite install

It would be nice if we were able to select calendar/site instances to aggregate event displays. We have 22 academic departments that have their own calendars and we would like to be able to aggregate all these events onto a global calendar. Academic departments also have individual centers and institutes with their own calendars, so the departments would like to aggregate those events while adding their own as well.

    I'm not sure this would be possible at moment without some really custom coding being done to the existing events+ plugin.
