All In One WP Security and transitioning to defender

A client is currently using the All In One WP Security plugin. I want to transition them to defender. They asked is Defender more comprehensive than this plugin and is there any issues that can be caused with transitioning?

I can't really make a side by side comparison with the two plugins since they have a few different features although they serve the same purpose. But defender is a pretty comprehensive security plugin with overview of your site stats and security risks highlighting.
Defender has a lot of great features like file scanning, IP lockouts to protect against suspicious login, plugins and themes scanning, automated backup among others. You can refer to Defender page for more details -

Regarding transitioning, there should not be any issue. There are functionalities that are provided by the previous security plugin that might not be available with Defender and vice versa. It's not uncommon though to use more than 1 security plugins as long as they do not conflict with each other.
