All sub site newsletters and settings just disappeared

I run a multisite network where every site uses the same theme and plugins (depending on their package) I decided to make e-Newsletter a feature for all packages and so I network activated it.
After doing so it appears that all the sub site database content (settings, newsletters, reports) were deleted.

Each site needed to input all of their outgoing SMTP info again and there is no history of any previous newsletters that were sent from any of the sites.

Is there a way of reversing what I did and getting it all back? Or am I going to have to tell my customers that all of their newsletters and their reports have been deleted?
