allocating shotcodes to paid membership types

hi guys

im trying to work this out

setting up membership website with forums (bbpress) which will have fully paid version and free version..

question.. how do i make some sections only available to paid members only..

i had attempted to use shortcode [level-subscriber] [/level-subscriber] to wrap video content only allowed on domain

http://interpulse.com.au/wp/forums/topic/referencing/

and yet it does run like it says it should..

others membership types can see it as well..

also.. is there any way to make some forums visible to paid subscribers only??

any help or advice is greatly appreciated..

thank you

grigori

    Hey there,

Thanks for posting on the forums.

question.. how do i make some sections only available to paid members only..

You simply protect that with Page/Post rules or URL groups.

If that is a content you want protected, you can put that in the shortcodes according to the level.

https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/membership/#usage is the usage guide of the plugin which will help you setup the plugin. Can you kindly go through that once and see if that helps you fix the issues here ?

If not, just let me know and I will be around !

    Cheers

thank you for getting back so quickly.. you are awesome..

I started to go through the settings…

    my question/issues now is this

on the Membership Tutorial Part 6 there is a part which describes

    Content Protection Options

// On the video I see custom shortcodes that are available

    // on site im developing, I don't :slight_frown: unfortunately

My question.. is there something that I could have missed??

I feel I have gone through the list closely.. but its missing..

I'll attach the screenshot.. great idea!!

    Hey there,

Sorry for missing your last response on this one. Please accept my apologies for the same.

The shortcodes will be found on the levels page. So you just need to go to Membership >> Access levels and on that page you will see the shortcodes relating to every level.

The message which you define there would be displayed if there is any content which is protected via shortcodes.
