Allowing *Anyone* to Edit Wiki?

The 'Wiki Privileges' doesn't appear to have a sign-up option for guests. It's either everyone/anyone can edit and create wikis or no one can edit or create. The one's that cannot edit and create can read the wikis, but they cannot participate.
My question is, do I need to install Membership plugin or change my contributor settings on WordPress in order to allow people to register with the site first, and then participate in the wiki?

    Hello Jam,

I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

By design, wikis can be created/edited by registered users of your site. The "Who can edit wiki privileges?" option lets you choose users of which user-role may create/edit wikis. Guests (meaning non-logged in/not registered visitors) are not allowed to do this.

That said, I'm not quite sure if I'm following you on this. Could you please provide me with an example "case scenario" of how would you like it to work? I'll be glad to look for solution for you then.

    Best regards,
