Alt text for images updated, not crawled since long

I updated Alt text for images on my site around 2-3 weeks ago, but yet the SEM rush report says they are not crawled since so long.

The media file details in WordPress shows all the properties correctly, the title, description alt txt etc.

What can be the reason?

I am using a Genesis Child theme if that would make any difference.

    Hi James,

    I had a look at your site and here's what I was able to find out.

    First thing is about the engagement.png image in your sidebar, this one to be more precise:
    https://YOUR_DOMAIN/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/engagement.png
    Issue here is that code for that IMG tag is incorrect, there's an extra quotation mark that's causing ALT attribute incorrect.
    The code looks like this:
    <img src="https://YOUR_DOMAIN/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/engagement.png" "alt="Engagement Ring Guide Promo Image">
    You can see the extra quotation mark just before the ALT, remove that and it should work for that part, it should look like this:
    <img src="https://YOUR_DOMAIN/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/engagement.png" alt="Engagement Ring Guide Promo Image">

    As for the other images within the report, I can see in the code on your site when I inspect it that there are no ALT tags there, this is either caused by the way you have added the image, or the theme itself, unfortunately the login details you provided in chat are not working anymore so I was unable to see which one is it.

    If you added images in content manually, and you typed in the code yourself make sure to include ALT attribute as well.

    If not, and this is handled by theme itself I would suggest getting in touch with theme devs for more information.

    Best regards,
    Predrag
