Antisplog Explaination

I have a few questions that I don't see covered on the plug-in information page. As I understand it, anti-splog will spam sites that meet a specific criteria and put it in "Recent Splogs" (unless it's not sure and it will go under suspected splogs). I don't have to do anything with the "Recent Splogs" unless some one asks for a review in which case I can "unspam" the blog.

So my question is, why do the blogs under "Recent Splogs" have links for "spam" next to Registered ID, User, Last IP and blog? If it's already in the spam list, why do I need to spam again? Is this to add the information (i.e. an IP address) to the splog database to prevent more splog?
