Any short cut to fix a fress wpmu install via Softaculous to use sub-domains?

Hey, just wondering if anyone knows of a quick easy way to convert a fresh Softaculous auto-install of multi-site from sub-directories to sub-domains...?
Thanks!

    Hey there.

    Open your wp-config.php file then change:

    define( 'SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', false );

    To:

    define( 'SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', true );

    You will also need to edit your httaccess file to look like this:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # uploaded files
    RewriteRule ^files/(.+) wp-includes/ms-files.php?file=$1 [L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]
    # END WordPress

    If you have no sites created then you should be fine now.

    Take care.

    only one thing to add would be that i needed to upload the sunrise.php and uncomment the sunrise entry in the wpconfig file to get it working correctly, and also you will need a wildcard subdomain entry in your control panel for your host.

    (this was on a centos server with cpanel)
