Anyone using multi Network? (how does edublogs do it?)

Is anyone using Multi Network type plugins + pro sites + caching, etc?

I am faced with a request of setting up a sub network. Ideally, I would like one main network for support, logins, billing, etc.

However, i am concerned over bugs. Multi network seems like it could be a terrible headache if something goes awry. How do you all do it for your edublogs? Do you do dedicated installs if someone asks for a network? Or multinetwork?

anyone else using multinetwork? pro sites + cache + multi domains, etc?

    Greetings in-mn,

Thank you for the great questions.

Is anyone using Multi Network type plugins + pro sites + caching, etc?

I do not know about others of course nor about edu blogs so I have no input for you there but I do have input for you.

I personally have used Networks for WordPress plugin and I love it.

I cannot advise about using Pro Sites with it nor Multi Domains and though I can see a possible use for Pro Sites, I cannot see a use for Multi Domains since you can use a real domain in any event just sending them ~or~ linking them to the other domain(s) within - domain mapping is built in.

Even my Buddy Press installation on it works flawlessly, however I have yet to see if multi Buddy Press installs work but I admit i am not a Buddy Press fan to begin with.

The databases are in the same configuration as a normal MultiSite install so I do not think it would be any different for troubleshooting.

    That about covers it.

    Have a GREAT weekend!

    Cheers, Joe
