Automated creation of membership

M2 is looking good. I’m currently building a membership site in WordPress, using M2, and I’ve imported a lot of legacy users from a bespoke (and very poor quality) CMS the client had before.

I’ve got around 600 users imported, and I’ve kept information about their previous membership status (really just active or inactive; 1 or 0) stored in a custom field.

Are there any tools available to allow me to assign M2 memberships to users automatically, or programatically?

I don’t mind writing PHP to find all users with active memberships and run an M2 API call to add them…

What are my options? Is there any documentation on this stuff?

Cheers

    Hey Mina,

Thanks for your question. We do have some dev docs inside the plugin via:

    Membership 2 > Help > API Docs.

I’m also messaging the developer to see if they can suggest anything else here

Either myself or the dev will reply back once they have had a chance to look this over.

Any further questions in the meantime just let us know.
