    Hello Wiztech,

What do you now want to do with plugin? Do you want to generate referral plugin for your user account? You can do that in Users -> Affiliate referrals and Enable Affiliate link. Your users will be able to do that from Profile Affiliate referrals https://premium.wpmudev.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/Affiliates-Affiliate-referrals.png

Or are you asking how to now enable Membership 2 Pro integration? In Affiliates -> Add-ons enable add on for Membership and then in each membership setting in Membership 2 you will be able to set up reward for signup to this membership.

If I'm not answering your question please give me more details.

also i want certain emails sent to a specific person.

Could you also give me more details on this one? What type of emails you want to send?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hello Wiztech

You need to setup pages with shortcode. Here are the shortcodes you can use:

[affiliatelogincheck] – place this at the top of the page that you are planning on using the rest of the shortcodes on and it will display a login message if the user isn’t logged in.
[affiliateuserdetails] – mirrors the affiliate details form from the admin area (yellow box)
[affiliatestatstable] – mirrors the large click statistics table
[affiliatevisitstable] – mirrors the referrers this month table
[affiliatetopvisitstable] – mirrors the top referrers table
[affiliatestatschart] – mirrors the main statistics charts
[affiliatevisitschart] – mirrors the referrers charts
[affiliatebanners] – displays the banners you add to your affiliate settings

You can find more details on https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wordpress-mu-affiliate/ and click on Usage tab.

Hope it helps  Please feel free to ask more question if you have any.

    Cheers
    Ash

ok thank you so much i got the page created. One more question, Why does the link take you to the website and not to the registration page? How can the referrer be compensated if the link does not go to the registration page?

Once you sign up for the affiliate you are given a link that users will be click on. when the user click on the link it takes them to the homepage of the website and not to the registration page. Can you tell me why?

    Hi Wiztech,

Once you sign up for the affiliate you are given a link

Do you mean the link that is showing in the "http://example.com/affiliate" page? Please check the attached screenshot for reference.

If yes, then you should change this URL with the registration page URL. By default, it's your site address. So if you site is "http://www.example.com", then in affiliate page, the link will be shown as "http://www.example.com?ref=XXXXXXXXX". When your users click on that link, they will be taken to homepage.

But if you want to send your users to the registration page, then go to "Dashboard > Affiliates > Settings" section and in the "Link URL" input box, enter your registration page URL. So if your registration page URL is "http://www.example.com/register", then put "http://www.example.com/register" in that box. Please check the attached screenshot for reference.

Now your "http://example.com/affiliate" page will show the affiliate link as "http://www.example.com/register?ref=XXXXXXXXX".

So after this, when users will be clicking on that link, they will land to the registration page.

Please let us know if you still have any confusion or if you are stuck at any point. We will be glad to help.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
