Automatic Updates from WPMUDEV fail

Hi, the automatic updates from wordpress.org work fine. But the ones from WPM
UDEV plugins fail. I get this notification:
Could not find update source

Which leaves me clueless. Do you have any idea what this could be?

thank you, Han

    Hi Han,

This is really weird and should not happen. But this error means, your server can't communicate to our servers for any reason. Can you please share your server IP so I can check with our System Admins to confirm that your IP is not blocked at our end in any way?

Just to make sure no other plugin is causing this, can you please do a plugin conflict test? This is important because some security plugin may block our servers on your end and that might cause this issue. To know more about plugin conflict test, you can check this guide: http://premium.wpmudev.org/manuals/using-wpmu-dev/getting-support/

I also found that you are using an older version of our WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin. Can you please delete that plugin from your site, download the latest version from here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wpmu-dev-dashboard/ , upload, install and activate on your site and then check if the issue is still there?

Please let us know how all these go. If you face this issue even after going through all of the above, we will be glad to investigate further.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

    Hi Rupok,

thanks for your quick respons. I didn't think it could be a plugin conflict. But it is after all. I narrowed it down to the plugin Easy Updates Manager.(https://wordpress.org/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/)

When that one is deactivated the WPMUDEV updates do work, really weird. So problem solved, except that I would like to keep the Easy Updates Manager activated for all NON-WPMUDEV plugins. But that is a minor detail. I'll keep an eye on future versions, hopefully the conflict disappears in future versions.

    Thank you for your help!

    many greetings,
    Han
