Avatar Plug in

1) will this plug in work in Word Press ?

2) What do I have to do to get it to work in BB-Press. Currently I
have both systems using the dame database, however my cookies are not
linked as of yet.

3) When I upload a picture using the upload feature,I cant see the
image in both the plug in area and on the blogs. When I right click on
the image in the blog I get this path:

avatar/user-1-32.png

I set up a directory called avatars

with

/user

/blog

I also changed my htaaccess file:

    Hiya,

    1) will this plug in work in Word Press ?

It might work ok but the plugin is coded for WordPress MU.

    2) What do I have to do to get it to work in BB-Press. Currently I
have both systems using the dame database, however my cookies are not
    linked as of yet.

    1) You have to open up avatar-bbpress.php and fill in your details at the top.

    2) You have to upload avatar-bbpress.php to your bbPress plugins directory and activate it.

    3) You have to edit you bbPress theme and add the following into the post loop:
    <?php avatar_display_bbpress(get_post_author_id( $bb_post->post_id ),'48',''); ?>

    Ex: https://premium.wpmudev.org/wp-content/misc/topic.txt

    3) When I upload a picture using the upload feature,I cant see the
image in both the plug in area and on the blogs. When I right click on
the image in the blog I get this path:

A link to your site would help.

Also, just to confirm, the following directories have been setup correct?:
    wp-content/avatars/blog
    wp-content/avatars/user

I also changed my htaaccess file:

    1) Make sure the modified .htaccess file was uploaded to the server. Some FTP clients have a hard time overwriting .htaccess files. In this case you would need to delete the file from the server and then upload the modified file.

    2) Make sure the avatars line is after this line:
    RewriteRule ^(.*/)?files/(.*) wp-content/blogs.php?file=$2 [L]

    Thanks,
    Andrew
