Background image still showing from New Blog templates

Howdy,

I am having problems removing the background image that was created with a new blog with the New Blog Templates plugin. I have removed the image from the media library, but its seems to still show in the browser. I cleared my cache, but it's still there.

It was originally added in the template from the Appearance > Background menu.

Here's the site: http://kathyrnlevison.wordsandwriters.com/

Thanks, Joe.

    Hello Joe,

    You should be able to remove this in the Appearanec -> Background menu of the subsite. Because this option adds inline style to the site and it looks like that in the source code:

    background-image: url("http://defaulttemplate.wordsandwriters.com/files/2015/03/Fotolia_72591647_XS-min.jpg");

    so image URL is to the one from the template and not the one in subsites media library - that is why removing it from there didn't worked (removing from the template library will work).

    Kind regards,
    Kasia

    Kasia,

    Thanks for the explanation. The image does not show up in the Customizer for the background, but I found that if I added any background image, saved it, and then removed it, it also removed reference to the default background image.

    Thanks, Joe.
