    Hello Hugh,

    Hope you are well!

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with WP Smush Pro.
I just tested this on my test multisite and didn't have any problems and our server is up and running.
There is also isn't so much requests now as in the begging so smushing times should be reasonable fast depending on how many images you send.

How many images did you send for smushing?

Do you run this on localhost?
If so smush can't send images back to a localhost - you need to have domain name.

If you are having problems connecting to it and/or receiving images it is most probably your hosting blocking some connection to our server.

Can you ask your hosting if they are blocking some connections to our servers?

    Thanks,
    Ivan

    Hi Ivan
    Thank you for your help.
I have my own server and domain name(s), main domain: http://fukdesign.com
I have checked with my server support and both of us could load images without a problem.
I only tried to upload 6 images, one at a time yesterday and this morning.
Looks like your server is being pushed to the limit.
This is not good when we are trying to complete a website.

    Regards
    Hugh

    Hey Hugh,

Hope you are having great weekend so far!

It is true the server was very busy first couple of weeks after the release of WP Smush Pro.
But since the initial push on the server, there wasn't long waiting times.

I just checked the server the queue is completely empty - every new request will be server reasonably fast.

Of course if you submit 100 big images it will take a lot of time.

I have checked with my server support and both of us could load images without a problem.

Does that mean this time you managed to get your images smushed?

Do you have another hosting where you could test the plugin?

    Cheers,
    Ivan
