Buddypress Activity Plus "re-install" problem

This plugin was working for me but after the following actions is not working for me.

I was having issues updating plugins that I had uploaded via SFTP. So all plugins that I originally installed via SFTP I also deleted via SFTP. I then reinstalled each plugin through the “in system” method. This one was re-installed through the WPMU plugin system. It doesn’t work when i network activate it or activate it on single site.

Any ideas how to fix? Thanks!

    Thank you for the additional input and I would think that it is possible the dashboard update did not go over so well – and that is why I have folks do updates via FTP but that seems to be an issue for some reason on WP Engine and with SFTP I am guessing it is possibly permissions/ownership from the description you gave.

    At this point I would personally go ahead and deactivate the plugin, delete it, and do another dashboard install. I admit I do not know what else to advise since I have had no trouble with installing it on my production servers.

    Please advise if that does the job for us.
