buddypress and a non-compatible theme

Hi support!

I wonder wether you’d help me:

I have a theme that fits my needs very well, except the buddypress compatibility. I’ve already made the modifications bp-theme-compatibility-plugin.

However, the site

and the corresponding one’s would look better, it there were a frame, like in the other templates/pages.

Any hint, what I still could do, to make it look perfect like the other pages?

I also considered to use a different theme, however, I’d need one with woocommerce-compatibility, I want the slider on the home page, I want no sidebars ever, I want my 4 footer-widgets.

Courious, Thomas

    thanks for posting.

it looks like you need to edit the templates for your theme. does the theme allow you to select different page templates/styles for pages?

if not it would most likely editing the templates for those plugins, not sure if you could do it all with CSS, but certainly a lot could. if you compare the pages html CSS match up the wrapper & content rules in CSS.

use a tool such as firebug for firefox. to find the CSS for each.

    hope this helps
